The pape4.pdf file in this directory was updated 8/24/00.  It now contains
all the text and figures from the original article (plus some notes and
labeling on the figures that were dropped from the original article due to
editorial error).  It also contains some new figures generated from
additional simulation runs carried out in February 1999.
